October:  

2. Recently we bought lots of wools. Rough wool to spin on my loom by hand, spun wool to crochet, knit, embroider and also: weave! I bought a tape loom to make belts and trims with little means and a lot of patience. So we've also been busy with that. With this weather it is kind of wonderfull to be making shawls and hats for winter time.  

1. These last few months I have been so busy with assignments that I had no time to spare to work on this site. It's about time to get back to work on that subject, luckily with some help!We're working on the translations as well as new pictures, because a lot of projects have actually been finished! The pictures will have to wait for a little while though, because LARP season isn't over yet. We are also planning to make pictures of our costumes in the wild with models in the forest. So if anybody is up for that?? 

February: 

1. Right now I'm busy translating my site into English, on request. With some help of dictionaries, people that are proficient with computers and a whole lot of patience, little bits and pieces get done. Progress is slow! 

January:  

3. A while ago a friend of mine, who runs a LARP for kids (www.kidslarp.nl), asked if I did anything with kids clothes. Back then I didn't, but now I do! My nieces and nephews are getting of that age when they like to dress up, so I got some fabrics and looked for patterns. And lo and behold, a world opened up to me. They are so small that I can easily make them on my kitchen table! Without difficulty! Soon: pictures! 

2. On the request of Maurits I'm working on a really big and heavy coat for a new character he made up. He had seen the design before with his musical group (www.musicalgroep.nl) and the clothing committee borrowed me the pattern to try it out. I am going to make the coat out of really heavy curtain fabric, which makes it hard to do and rather heavy. The result is going to be impressive though! 

1. It's REALLY winter! Everything is white outside! Beautiful weather to make new pictures. Sadly it didn't work out yet. Every time we go outside the snow has melted! Also it's a big project, because getting dressed in different costumes in this weather is quite something! Soon: pictures of our 'Costumes in the Wild'!
